Women’s Fund Armenia announces the call for proposals aimed at strengthening efforts by local women organizations, feminist non-formal groups, activists, journalists, researchers and artists working on advancing peace, conflict transformation and security from an intersectional and gender sensitive lens. If you are an organization, a group or an individual tackling issues related to feminist peacebuilding, the effects of militarism on women’s bodies and sexualities, conflict and displacement on marginalized groups, intersectional aspects to collective recovery and healing, ensuring a broad and impactful reach across communities and beyond, then this call is for you.
Sub-grant Objectives
– Support and amplify the voices and initiatives of women’s organizations, feminist non-formal groups, individuals, and artists focused on women, peace, and security.
– Foster innovative approaches and creative solutions in promoting peace, security, and gender equality.
– Strengthen advocacy, research, and programmatic efforts aimed at advancing women in peace and security discourse and practices.
– Encourage collaborative networks and partnerships across different sectors and disciplines to enhance the effectiveness and reach of peace and security initiatives.
Eligibility:
– Open to registered non-profit women’s organizations, feminist non-formal groups, individuals, and artists based in Armenia or significantly active within Armenian communities.
– Projects must directly relate to the themes of women, peace, and security, demonstrating tangible impacts on gender equality and women’s empowerment in these spheres.
– Applicants with experience in addressing gender issues, peacebuilding, conflict resolution, or
security.
– Collaborations and intersectional approaches that bring together diverse perspectives and strengths are highly encouraged.

The budget of each grant program should not exceed 2,115,000 AMD (including taxes).
In the electronic application, you will also find the budget example, which must be downloaded, filled out, and then uploaded to the application.
Deadline for receiving applications: April 11, 2024 (until 17:00)
Please plan the start of the programs from May 2024.
The duration of the programs should not exceed 6 months.
Preliminary answers will be available until April 20. During this period, all applications that meet the specified criteria will be considered. There will be an interview stage between April 20-25, after which the final results will be announced.
