Introduction
We are excited to announce a Call for Proposals for the upcoming Feminist Events dedicated to the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. 16 Days of Activism is an annual international campaign that runs from November 25 (International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women) to December 10 (Human Rights Day). Launched in 1991 by the Center for Women’s Global Leadership, the campaign aims to raise awareness and inspire action to end all forms of gender-based violence. Governments, NGOs, and individuals worldwide participate through various events, including workshops, marches, and social media campaigns, focusing on prevention, justice, and the empowerment of survivors. The initiative highlights the intersection of gender inequality and violence, calling for systemic change.
