This year, we’re thrilled to announce the launch of a new initiative: the Feminist Academy! 🎓💜 We are planning to start an enrollment process in the fall of 2025
The Feminist Academy will offer thematic courses for students, researchers, scholars, consultants, civil society leaders, international organizations, and policymakers interested in gender and women’s studies. This initiative is the result of extensive needs assessments, stakeholder consultations, and feedback from local partners and policymakers.

Our courses will delve into topics such as:

✨ History of global and Armenian/Georgian women’s movement
✨ Intersectional feminis
✨ Feminist leadership & communication
✨ Decolonial studies and feminism
✨ Feminist philanthropy
✨ Methodology of gender research

Led by local and international experts, the Academy will equip participants with essential knowledge and skills to advance gender and social justice.
Since 2018, Women’s Fund Armenia and Women’s Fund in Georgia have been dedicated to building capacity in gender and women’s studies. With the Feminist Academy, we aim to take this work further, creating a space for learning, collaboration, and innovation in feminist research and leadership.
We hope this initiative will inspire scholars, activists, and policymakers to look at their work through feminist and gender lenses. 💡🌍
